This Manta Ray art work has been created by Susie Rodgers MBE. Susie is a former, gold winning Paralympic swimmer. She is also an Ocean Ambassador for us here at the Marine Conservation Society and has donated this print to raise money for our charity. <\/p>

The inspiration behind this manta ray art comes from a trip to Bali. Susie visited and went diving with Reeflex diving team, at a Manta feeding site. She describes it as a beautiful experience. <\/p>
<\/p>
The original painting took months of trying, scrapping and restarting before Susie came back to it to finish it. She says, it was hard to paint because capturing and doing justice to such beautiful and majestic creatures is not easy. <\/p>

We think that Susie has captured their beauty elegantly, giving them an almost ethereal quality. <\/p>
